Willow recommended as “books to enrich English learning (for ESL children)” February 7, 2019 – Posted in: Blog, Books, English Learning, Review, Thoughts – Tags: , , ,

ESL teacher Lauren from the site diaryofaspanishgirl is really enthusiastic when it comes to our children’s book Willow Willpower. With beautiful illustrations, the encouraging message, various geographic information, and not least of all, its eco-friendly production, Lauren considersWillow Willpower to be an extremely ethical and exceptional book that she recommends teachers and parents alike for multiple learning objectives in the English language.

Lauren believes that picture books can be a wonderful tool for learning a new language. Even though children may not understand every word, they can follow the story…
In her article she looks at three different children’s books and one children’s book serie.

Willow Willpower persuades her on several levels. Since it can be used as the basis of different times (past “I have been to …” or future “I want to go to …”) , the base for geography lessons, in support of self-assessment or for history lessons on pioneers …

Their conclusion speaks for itself: “If you only buy one book this year, whether it’s for your own children or your class, make it be this one. Seriously.”

Thank you, Lauren, for such a fabulous review!
